For more than 25 years, Jada has had a variety of roles in Washington’s education system. She has been a teacher, psychologist, principal, and assistant Superintendent, where her focus was on innovative programs that created access for all students and strengthen the early learning system. In 2012 Jada was chosen by then Governor Kitzhaber to lead Oregon’s new Early Learning System. Showing her commitment to all levels of education, she also serves on the Board of Trustees of Clark College in Vancouver, Washington. Jada also believes that strong education programs = strong communities and has worked in many volunteer roles in in SW Washington including: Leadership Clark County, Clark County Planning Commission, Clark County Skills Center Advisory and Washington’s Early Learning Advisory.
