The Parks Foundation of Clark County is proud to announce the recipients of the 2017 Florence B. Wager Awards. Each year, the Parks Foundation honors leaders, volunteers, and parks and recreation professionals who have had a significant impact on the development and enhancement of the parks, trails, and recreation programs of Clark County. The award’s namesake, Florence B. Wager, a tireless advocate for parks, trails, and greenways in the community, passed away in 2012.

Joyce Lindsay, Washougal City Council and Washougal Parks board member, is the recipient of the V-Formation Flyer Award in honor of her years of service and leadership on behalf of parks, trails and recreation in Washougal. James Barhitte, caretaker of Abrams Park, has been named the recipient of the Tributary Award in recognition of his work in the City of Ridgefield.
